Salaat Clock - 2008 - Flash

The prayers, or Salaat, is a critical part of lives in muslims. its rhythmic and formulaic ritual, but that shouldn't be considered a criticism. there's something oddly beautiful in the arrangement and complexity of something that is mostly glanced over by the majority of muslims throughout the world. in this piece i've tried to organize the numerology of the prayers in a visually interesting and illuminating manner. the work is still in progress. check out the source code >here<
